Pricing
What websites cost — and how we quote

What shapes the final number
Why two websites at similar page counts can cost very different amounts
Web design pricing isn't a per-page rate. The same number of pages can mean very different amounts of work depending on what you need them to do. Here's what we look at when scoping a project.
Scope and page count
More pages, more designs, more bespoke layouts — all add work. A 6-page marketing site is a different project from a 30-page site with custom templates per section.
Custom design vs templates
We don't ship templated work — every site we build is bespoke. The depth of design exploration and the level of polish you want both shape the timeline and the cost.
Integrations
Connecting to CRMs, booking systems, payment providers, accounting tools, or APIs adds development and testing time. Some integrations (Stripe, basic Mailchimp) are routine; others (custom ERP integration, complex inventory sync) are substantial work.
Content production
If you provide finished copy and high-quality imagery, we move faster. If you need us to handle copywriting, photography, or video production, that work is scoped separately.
Cross-border and dual-market complexity
Sites serving both NI/UK and Republic of Ireland customers need careful VAT, currency, carrier, and SEO setup. Worth doing properly — but it's real engineering, not a checkbox.
Timeline and urgency
Standard projects run 6–12 weeks depending on scope. Genuine rush projects can be accelerated, but typically at additional cost to reflect the schedule pressure.
How we quote
From first call to launch — what to expect
Our process is built to give you confidence at every stage and avoid the surprises that turn web projects into stressful experiences.
Discovery
A free initial call (30–60 minutes) where we understand your business, goals, and constraints. No commitment — we leave you with notes either way.
Quote and proposal
We send a written proposal with a fixed price (or a clear estimate range for more complex work), the scope it covers, and the timeline. You take the time you need to review.
Design and build
Iterative design first, then development. You see progress weekly, not at the end. We use staging environments so you can review the live site before launch.
Launch and aftercare
We launch with you, not at you — content checks, redirects, analytics, the works. Then we transition into ongoing aftercare or hand off cleanly to your in-house team.

Frequently Asked Questions

- Do you have fixed prices?
- We give fixed prices for projects with clear, agreed scope. For exploratory or research-heavy projects we sometimes work to an estimate range with you, then convert to fixed prices once scope is settled. The aim is no nasty surprises either way.
- What's the minimum project size?
- We don't have a hard minimum, but most marketing-site projects start around £1,000. For very small jobs (a single landing page, a small WordPress fix) we'll either quote it directly or recommend a more cost-effective approach for what you actually need.
- How does payment work?
- For most projects we invoice 50% on commencement and 50% on launch. Larger or longer-running projects sometimes break into thirds (start, midpoint, launch). Aftercare is invoiced monthly. We accept BACS, card, and Stripe.
- What about ongoing costs?
- Beyond the build itself, expect hosting (typically £15–£100/month depending on platform and traffic), domain renewal (around £15/year), any third-party service subscriptions (Shopify plans, email tools, etc.), and aftercare from £50/month if you want us handling updates and monitoring. We'll always be transparent about what's needed.
- Can you work to a budget?
- Often, yes. Tell us your budget and what success looks like, and we'll be honest about what's achievable. If your budget can't deliver what you actually need, we'll say so rather than ship something that won't work.
- Why don't competitors publish prices?
- Custom web design pricing varies a lot, so many agencies treat pricing as a sales-call topic. We publish indicative ranges because most buyers want a sense of cost before getting on a call. Final pricing always depends on your actual scope.
- Do you work with businesses outside Northern Ireland?
- Yes. We're based in Belfast and most of our work is for Northern Ireland businesses, but we've shipped projects across the UK and into the Republic of Ireland. Cross-border NI/ROI work is a particular specialty.
